I have been invited to speak at seminars, participate as a leader in user work groups, and conduct side-sessions for user conferences. As the information age shifted from print to web and mobile devices, I added cross-publishing and User Experience (UX) with emphasis on ePub. From there I have worked on specific projects such as catalog and book production. From 1997 to 2007 I worked for a software development company, traveling extensively teaching automation techniques and programming for the newspaper industry. As fate would have it, I became an early-adopter for using computers in the graphic arts and printing industry, and ended up teaching in the industry rather than in the classroom.

My goal as a young student was to become a teacher.
